Computer doesnt remember

Dell Inspiron running W7 Home premium

My computer seems to have stopped remembering login info etc. I used to be able to leave this site and return without logging on again, I set my location on weather sites and its gone when I return etc etc. It seemed to start forgetting for no reason and I cannot see why. Can anyone help?

I have to logon any time after updates etc.
Have you just had updates?

Did you change your browser's security settings to delete 'cookies' when the browser is closed, or delete browsing history which could have also deleted saved login data?

Several updates but the latest on the weather site, I set my location at around 1-30 p.m. today and when looked again about an hour later it had gone.
