Hi all,

The concrete canopy above my front door has a horizontal crack which has led to exposed rods and crumbling concrete.

Is this repairable or would you recommend a replacement? Having searched for previous threads, I'm unsure if this is a structural worry as it seems to be a lintel but the cracks are not close to the wall.

I've attached images to better show what I mean.

Thanks

this may be dangerous, because the exposed steel will now be going rusty, and will sooner or later give way, possibly unexpectedly.

If a concrete canopy, or part of it, falls on your head, the results may be undesirable.
