Hey guys,

Sorry if this has been done to death, but i've had a search around and not really come up with the answer i want.

I've got a fresh slab that will soon be covered, and i want to paint it.

It's for my garage/workshop, where i will be dragging heavy tools, car jacks etc over it.

From what I have read, it needs to be an epoxy type paint.

But I am stuck, as there are so many to choose from!

I can't afford for it to cost the earth, but on the other hand, I need it to do the job properly and not start peeling the first time i sweep up some grindings or spill some oil on it!

What I am asking is, can anybody recommend me a suitable product that they KNOW is the product to use..?

Many Thanks.

One tip is to do with application.
Don't do what a mate did and just apply a good coat, undiluted, to a bare floor. It was tacky for a while, and stuck better to our boots than the floor - building up the height of our soles
Can't say for epoxy types, but for solvent types you need to thin the first coat down so it's like water. That way, it can soak in and bind the surface grains of the floor together - ready to take a proper layer. Without that, the paint tends to stick to the surface grains and just peel off with them.
