Hi

I am hoping to lay a reinforced slab for a shed/ workshop about 2.4m x 3.6. Given a proposed 150mm thickness I calculate I'd need about 1.3 cubic metres of aggregate. What I'd like to know is for a 1:5 mix how many bags or how much cement would I need?

Thanks Pavarotti

Pavarotti, good evening.

There are loads of web based sites where you can "Tweek" the mix you want to use, that is the ratio of Sand / Chips / Cement.

Suggest you have a look on line for Concrete mix calculator [or similar]
