Hi, Moved into an old property recently, and located in the garden we have what looks 3 old concrete lids. Approximately 3 inches thick and having dug down to one side, it looks like the lids are on more concrete. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Many thanks Mark

Possibly drainage channels or an old cess pit covered over? How old is the property and are you connected to mains sewage?

We had rainwater tanks in our old garden that looked like that, house was 1800's though.

Only one way to find out... (Send the youngest boy in)
