Concrete post with steel rods what to do?

Hello,

I have a problem with concrete posts which I want removed that has wire going through I am wondering what tools I would need to get rid of them

I was going to buy myself a Silverline 394968 Fibreglass Sledge Hammer 14lb, Roughneck 64152 Pick Mattock Head 5lb F/glass Handle and Black & Decker CD115A5 240V 710W 115mm Small Angle Grinder with 5 Discs and Guard to do the job I am inexperienced and need some advice please?

Most concrete posts are reinforced with steel bar in this way......often called rebar.
Break the concrete away as low as you can, exposing the steel rods, and then use your angle grinder with a steel cutting disc to cut through the rebar.
Have a practice on a piece thats easy to reach, first!

the angle grinder is all you need.

unless they are loose enough that you can push them over and pull out with the mass concrete around the root, which will be a better job. It is easier to push and pull with the max length of post as a lever.
