Hi all, new to the site. Our lovely new house is an ex council place and has concrete skirting boards upstairs. They're in awful condition with lots of pits, marks, not level and holes in them.

I know that others have posted on this but I've never seen any suggestions (or follow ups) as to how to cover them up, repair or even remove them from people who've actually attempted it - has anyone ever done this? Most posts were quite a few years old and I thought that something might have been designed in the years since to fit this gap in the market?

Cheers.

Concrete  . Maybe plaster mouded  Also could be a wartime house because there was a shortage of timber - fill holes with polyfilla  Start digging them off and you`ll need at least a new skirting 1inch taller to cover the mess
