my first experience working with concrete. i was making a concrete planter yesterday and i forgot to use a release agent on my mold. i had a bottle of oil ready to go and in the excitement of it all i just started filling the mold!
i got halfway through when i realised, so i had to dismantle the mold, clean it off, rebuild the mold and apply the oil, then refill it again!
i will never make this error again!
it was a disastrous first attempt all around really, i'm not sure how this one will go haha. i also had a weird looking mix, which i posted about here, in case anybody can help:
