Hi, I wonder if anyone has opinion on this recent quote I got. Whether it's good value, reasonable or expensive?

I have 2 windows where condensation has got in between the sealed unit. I have been quoted the following to replace and fix the glazing.

4/20/4 Clear Geo Bar 1@ 515x615 £90 + VAT

4/16/4 Clear tough 519x1914 £120 + VAT

If both are done together i.e. one visit then it wll be £150 + VAT

Opinions on the quote greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Ask him to knock the VAT off and it's not bad. They are easy to do yourself if you want to.

Is it? What actually do they do, replace the glazing and black rubber seals?

I know my windows are externally glazed and the one of the windows in question is above my conservatory which will be a little bit more tricky to get to.

Many thanks for your repsonse

Wouldn't even get my ladders out the garage for that kind of money if it was me, let someone else dangle off a ladder above a conny roof, unless they fancy leaning out from inside to do it, so like i said let them do it
