Condensation

Hi
I am about to purchase a ground flat in Northolt in a new development (< 10 years old)
The Damp survey shows the problem of Condensation
From my previous experince this is always difficult to rectify
since this is a relatively new development should I proceed with the deal
Need some advice please

When I viewed the property I found some Mould near the window with some dampness The seller mentioned to me that they were not using the build in ventilation above the window until weeks earlier
I had this done for my satisfication as I am always worried about Moisture and condensation

Just sounds like a lack of ventilation, when you say damp what do you mean? Was the plaster saturated/wet? Or was there just a bit of mould? So did you have a survey done by a 'damp specialist'? A 'damp specialist' will always find a problem and offer to do soe work for you.

Condensation tends to be caused by the occupant's use of the property and not the property itself
