Hi guys,
So.... Ive fitted my 22mm pipe and am looking to connect it to a new tap (great eh?!)... Not being a plumber I did my research and found that 22mm to the bath makes sense given the speed it will feed the bath and fill it up quicker - Im cooking on gas!

So why do all the taps seem to be 1/2" why is it so difficult to find a 22mm to 1/2" and why am I occasionally talking in mm and inches?

Sorry guys but its all very confusing :D

Thanks!

Most stuff is metric, but threads (bsp) are inches. As above search for bath taps.

Well this is it if you look at the stop cock from the blue pipe coming in to the house going out is 15mm. Although strangely enough the boiler has 22mm coming out of it for the house (and no Im not getting confused with the gas pipe ).

But I do get it now conventionally bath pipes are 3/4" but you look at some taps they look too much for a sink yet they are 1/2" so one would assume not for the bath.

Either way Ive found a 22mm to 1/2" and will just use that.
