Can someone decipher this please.

AC1/AC7a 25A
Ui 500V
50HZ/Vc 50HZ
AC7b8,5A


It is on the side of a merlin gerin CT contactor
It has a 240v coil and N/O contacts.

I read it as, the contacts are 25 amp rated for certain loads or lower rated for some other loads.

Is the Ui the contact rating, meaning it could be used to switch in series with a 415 volt control circuits for example.

AC1 is Non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, resistance furnaces. Your contactor is rated 25A for this type of load.
AC7a is slightly inductive loads in household appliances and similar applications. Your contactor is rated 25A for this type of load.
AC7b is Motor loads for household appliances. Your contactor is rated at 8.5A for this type of load.
Afaict, Ui is the rated insulation voltage.
