Bought some stuff to start a bit buissnnes(sp) up doing drains, jetter, camera etc, spent about £7000.

The new budget says, "more money for women starting a new buisness"

Sexist??

Went to my council to ask for help with my new buisness, " do you sign on?

"no i don't, living on the last of my savings"

"Can't help you then"

I am now signing on, they will give me money i'm entitlled to because of lack of savings.

My machine must now sit redundant for 6 month, it wont, they will pay me nearly £100 a week (shortly) £2400 in 6 month?

But in june, they will give me £700 to help me.

Am i missing something out ? what would you do ?sorry for a confusing post

Don't really understand your post, to be honest, but are you choosing to take the 'free' 100 pounds per week, rather than run your new business. Is that 100 punds more than you would have made working.

Surely it would have been better to go into the full financial situation before shelling out 7 grand on kit ?

It's not free, he would have already paid for it with his Nat. Insurance contributions and tax.
