confusing wiring to light fitting

hi all this is my first post on this site, i am struggling to understand a lighting circuit to my shed, this light has never worked in the time ive been in this house, i have attched a picture and am hoping you guys can tell me what goes where

is there another black wire that goes with the loose red?

The light is connected 'normally' apart from the loose earth.

It is impossible to say what the extra wire (or cable) is.

Does the light cable go to a switch?

Where does the extra one(s) go?

There is no additional black wire, the earth is not loose it's all connected its the extra live I'm more worried about + the way it's connected it works but is permanently on

I thought someone had made a loop in the earth wire, bottom left.

If not, where does the second earth wire come from?


Where do the cables go/come from?
