I have a garage linked to the house... there is currently no power although there is a 2.5mm cable running from the main consumer unit utilising a 10 A MCB (not curently live). In order to have sockets and lighting in the garage do I need to install a garage consumer unit. If so is the 2.5 mm cable and the 10 A MCB suitable?? Any help would be appreciated
