Eighteen months ago I updated my home with the two brands I had the most experience with and trust in.

Despite my best efforts, I cannot get them to communicate via modulation. I can enable external demand switching but this loses the brilliance of the boiler's thermal management.

For over a year I reverted to the best compromise, which is allowing the boiler to schedule and maintain water temperature, then allow the Evo home to control the 13 zones within the house and distribute heat appropriately.

Given current energy prices, I require to stop the lengthy runtime periods on the boiler pump and also shot the boiler down more often when the house it at temperature.

Both these systems are independently at the top of their game, I just need to link them more effectively.

The boiler does not support OpenTherm.

Just get the Opentherm module.

i have the Vitodens 222-f B2TF 32kw
