Connecting chrome bottle trap to 32mm waste pipe

Hey guys,

Just wondering what type of connector I need to form a watertight seal between the chrome bottle trap and the waste pipe.

Also, the flange thats supplied with the bottle trap to "cover" the hold in the wall that the trap feeds in to. Can I just silicone this to the surface?
