connecting new toilet to existing soil pipe

Hi All,

looking at potentially buying the shown in the image. My soil pipe protrudes 250mm from the wall as shown in my image, However the pan has a ~170mm requirement .

is there an easy method to modify/remove entirely/replace the soil pipe elbow somehow to make this compatible?

Pull the bend off at floor level and use a normal bent pan connector

Support the pipe going into the floor when tugging at that bend though, or you may find that pipe comes out comes out from below rather than the bend coming off the top....
Thats some good advice, and not an obvious thing to mitigate against. Thanks for the heads up :)
