Hi all -

Planning a downstairs bathroom makeover which currently has a wetroom style floor and a standard shower waste which is cemented in the floor, a bit like this:

https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-tsg50t6ss-trapped-gully-with-stainless-steel-tile-50mm/3988r

I'm putting a shower tray over it and wondering if there is some sort of extension adapter to go from the shower tray waste to the one in the floor (perhaps flexible to allow for new positioning) or am I just going to have to dig the old waste up?

Many thanks

Nope, won't work, you need to lift the old waste out & disconnect it from the waste pipe and then move the waste to where you need it and connect the new waste to the old.
