connecting to 4 inch pot waste

hey what fitting do I need to connector to a 4inch pot waste. Is it a drain connector?

Will that take me from 4inch clay waste to plastic?

thinking the fined end will fit in to the 4inch clay pipe ? Its above ground

Is that what these drain connector fittings in the picture above are for?

I used one to connect into 4" asbestos, worked well enough

I suspect 4"clay would not be much different.
