Connecting water supply to toilet cistern

Hi,

I am replacing a toilet. My water supply is from a compression joint about 15cm more or less directly below the cistern entry point which is a male plastic thread.

I had hoped to use a flexible connector but the shortest I have seen is 30cm which is too long.

What are the alternatives, please? I presume I need a BSP to connect to the plastic cistern thread and can not use copper pipe and olive?

Either cut out and plumb back in with fittings or try a 150mm flexi.

Thanks. I think a 150mm flexi will be too short. Been looking to see if I can buy a short length of copper pipe with a BSP on one end, then I could cut the other end to the length I want.......can't seem to find anything like this though.

I can't reduce the length of the water supply feed. It is just out of the wall by a few cms, where I have attached a compression isolating elbow.

Just pig tail the flexi, basically you are creating a coil out of the pipe that should take up the excess.

Its sometimes easier to loose a bit of flexi length in a smooth bend if the two ends are at 90° and not facing each other.
