Connection for vented tumble dryer into air vent

No, but despite several people telling you how to do it properly, you are still asking if the air brick can remain....

Madrab asked if the floor was or is suspended and I simply answered his question.

Secondly, the holes in the air brick will quickly block up on the inside with lint from the dryer, creating a major issue as the dryer relies on a constant stream of air flowing through to do its job. Lint build up and /or lack of air flow through the machine can be a major fire hazard.

There would be no build-up of lint against an air brick with the air brick removed and the product linked-to below used.

I wonder if that kit could be used but without using the external vent, but rather attach the tubing to the inside of the air brick using expanding foam?

Would mean the original 1940s air brick could remain.
