Connector for outside tap

Its getting on a bit, that one.....however, it could well be screwed into a wall plate elbow (can't see) - in which case a new tap could be fixed in its place.
However, you could try softening a short length of hose pipe in boiling water and forcing it over the spout, fixing it with a jubilee clip.
Hozelock connectors could then be fixed to the other end of the hose.

Many thanks for the replies.

I went out to measure and the tap size seems to be 22mm. Is that a 1" BSP connector?

If not, I'll just replace the tap.

B&Q Wilkinsons etc, about £1. They fit two sizes as the top screw bit comes off and the next part fits a tap of your size. I've just bought one.
