connnecting two pieces of flue liner together ?

is it possible to do ?

i need to line my chimney - my dads got about 24 foot of the stuff spare but my chimney is at least 30ft - i was thinking i could maybe buy another six ft and connect the two pieces together...

is this sensible...... and how would i do it ?

Not only not sensible,NOT LEGAL ,flue liner should be one continuous length with no joins from bottom to terminal.
