Conservatory electrics

We are having our conservatory replaced and I have a question about the electrics. I am not doing any of the work.

The existing conservatory has a single plug spurred from the lounge. The new conservatory will have three plugs and I would like a new ring or radial circuit from the main board rather than having the existing lounge ring extended.

Can I insist on this? Is it better to have a conservatory as a separate circuit or am I being fussy?

Cheers

Antony

You can insist on whatever you like but it will probably cost you extra and you may have to engage an electrician separately. Every conservatory I have ever seen has had its electrics cobbled together by the erectors to a minimum specification.
