Extending radial main

A perennial rumour, but it never seems to be more than that.

The differences between our practices and the French are greater than just the issue of ring finals, but I for one would not be sorry to see those go.

Of course it would take generations for them to physically disappear, and right now we have the best of both worlds - those who want them can have them, and those that don't can have radials.

Not actually sure about that one tbh, besides testing for bridged rings, etc, all the tests for the ring can be conducted from the CU,

How do you work that one out then adam, All the on site guides and testing courses, you have to bridge the phases to the earths from the opposite legs and take readings form each socket on the circuit to obtain your R1+R2 which would be the highest reading you obtain, therefore you have to test fromevery socket not just from the fuseboard
