Is changing panels a DIY job or not?
We have semi opaque panels, but the conservatory faces north and even in the summer only really gets direct sun in the morning hours, so internal heat is not such an issue.
What is an issue is that the room adjoining gets a lot less light because of the semi opaque panels.
So I am thinking to replace the rectangular sections with transparent sections. Leaving the end panels as before.
The panels themselves are expensive enough, so I'd like to do myself if it is possible.
Any thoughts on this plan?
