Contract Taps to Level Basin Taps

Hi,

Is it possible to replace/remove the contract taps (the top parts)
to the lever types? So that I don't need to change the whole taps.

Have you come across this on youtube? This would help me to visualize how I can replace it.

Turn water off, small screwdriver to prise the top off where the Red/Blue rings are to reveal a screw, remove screw and then remove the shroud (handle), undo the cartridge, compare threads and cartridge are the same, screw in new cartridge.

My error, thought that was the purpose as it normally is. Can you buy the levers on their own even so the shrouds may not fit.

They wouldn't work on screw down valves. You have to change the valves.by the time you have bought the lot you could very well have bought new taps with lever operation.
