Control unvented cylinder

Hi
I have a "main" 250 liter unvented cylinder.
I have noticed when I turn the boiler temperature up the hot water comes out of the tap hotter. Checked that the thermostat is working on the cylinder and it seems to be. Also wondered the most economical way to heat the cylinder at present I have it on for a few hours morning and few hours at night, but wondered if it would benefit from being on all day from morning to night??

Depends how much hot water you use and how often.
The boiler will only be on as long as it takes the cylinder stat to be satisfied.
As for any other issue you need a G3 qualified plumber to take a look.
