I've recently replaced my door lock mechanism to a winkhaus cobra. I realised yesterday that the cobra can work with a one piece spindle or a split one. So i assume I measure my old spindle and buy a split one of the same overall length with the split right in the middle, ive also noticed some split spindles come with 1, 2 or no springs. So do i buy one with springs or not? Any help appreciated.
