the handle in my house split/offset PVC door lock has been damaged. I have been online as well been to most local hardware but can not find a match. anyone can help, please.
the door locking mechanism has two spindles; the upper is the outside one attached to the short handle which is damaged (replaced by a white one in the pics for illustration). the lower one is the inside attached to the longer silver handle. I have been online and to my local hardware stores but could not get a matching handle. I did some testing and I am able to lock the door from outside and inside using either of the spindles. therefore, it should work if I can get a handle with one spindle that matches either the upper or the lower spindle and keyholes, see attached pic
