cooker hob and window position query

Hi All,
Firstly, new in these here parts.....so drinks are on me!
Secondly, can anyone tell me if there are any regs regarding minimum distances that a window can be from an oven hob?
Tomorrow I am having various parts of the kitchen wall bricked up as part of an extension and am having some windows put in either side of where the new rangecooker will go.

don't know on regs but need to consider things like will an open window be able to blow out the burner? do i need to reach over parts of the hob or pan handles to close a window? can any windo dressing blow onto the hob and catch fire etc?
