I want to fit a cooker hood (chimney type) in our flat but I can not make a hole in the wall.
Will any cooker hood be ok as long as it has a carbon filter in it or does it have to be a certain type of hood?

Thanks

Recirculating cooker hoods are very poor, do you have no external walls or ceiling/roof access at all?

No I lave in a block of 6 flats and the landlord does not allow hole to be made in the wall

Then ask him to get his kitchens to meet building regulations & comply with forced air extraction regs.
