Cooker hood plastic Ducting Regs

I cannot find out if its ok to use plastic duct fittings - nothing recent anyway. I am looking at using Kair plastic fittings and although they mention cooker extraction they also state up to 60 degrees. Is that a lot - I don't know

Air drawn in, will be highly diluted in temperature, by air drawn in from the surrounds, so 60C will be fine. Put your hand under the intake when it's running, if you can happily keep it there, it is <45C.
