Hi there new to the forum and im begging for help already lol,
Just finished installing a kitchen. The cooker hood is a recirculating type and the other side of the wall its mounted on is our electrics cupboard where the consumer unit is. I have taken the flex through the wall and what i want to do is take the feed from the consumer unit as its the closest source.
What size rcd should i use?
Is 1.5mm twin and earth suitable?
Do i still need to use a FCU if its supplied by its own RCD?
Can i use a junction box for the connection of the 1.5mm TE to the flex or should i use a flex outlet plate?
Thanks in advance
James
