If the fan is whizzing round i would suggest the heating element has failed. Look on line for replacement oven elements.Before you do anything towards removing the element make sure the power is OFF. The element is usually concealed behind a plate at the rear of the oven secured by screws. If you are really unlucky the screw(s) securing the element will be accessible only from the back of the range cooker. This will mean moving it forward, it should have a chain securing it to the wall to prevent it tipping over in use. Becareful when working inside oven with chain detached or it could topple on you.
