Copper Pipe in plastic waste pipe

Hi all

I'm about to cover my redirected copper mains pipe with mortar (burried in floor screed). I know there are some issues with concrete corroding copper pipes so I want to protect it.

I don't have any denso tape and don't really have any future need for any so would rather not buy any. However i've got plenty of plastic waste pipe at home, can I put this around the copper pipes to protect the pipes from the concrete?

Can use waste pipe, but not so easy when it comes to the bends.
use a duct or conduit far easier.
