Hi all,
I'm fitting a standard convector K3 radiator in my kitchen and Im going to replumb it so the pipes are chased into the wall rather than through the floorboards.
Thus, I was looking for some equally bog standard corner lockshield valves to go with it (don't want TRV one side as will just balance the lockshields). However, I've just realised that all of these seem to be designer/shiny ones that are seemingly meant for towel rails. Having looked again at one radiator we have upstairs where the pipes come through the wall, I've noticed they've done the right angle on the pipework just underneath the angle valve. I can obviously do this, but is there a reason I am missing as to why the cheapish standard lockshield valves don't come in a corner variant (or not that I can find anyway)?
The only thing I can find is this sort of thing, which feels a bit like overkill alongside a no frills convector radiator....
