CORRAPOL-PVC Flashing sealing

Hi,

I am looking to fit some corrgated PVC sheets to my veranda and also purchased the CORRAPOL-PVC Flashing. I wonder how it is sealed against rain as if its just fitted against the wall it will leave gaps, where the mortar is. I guess leading flashing would work but I wanted to do this myself. Is there an alternative? I exepect it to be quite easy as its a flat brick wall to a flat piece of plastic.

If you don't want to grind it out and do it professionally then you are stuck with flash band or clear mastic.
