Correct cabling for a household Lighting

I am need to spec up cabling for a household lighting, I used to just spec it up and order it, but my supplier is now requesting wether I require 1.0mm 1.25mm or 1.5mm dependant on my load, this is for a two bed apartment, but I am not completly sure of the lighting load as the customer hasn't decided on the light fittings, I suspect it will be a mixture of rose and downlighters.

Should I just bight the bullet and put in 1.5mm, or is this an overkill, I would apreciate anyones opinion, before my spark gives me a kick up the proverbial!

I've also never heard of 1.25mm T&E?

Its what you get when you stretch 2.5mm² to twice the length using your car , unfortunatly you get a 0.75 cpc

You can't calculate the required cable size without knowing the circuit design current.

Ask your electrician as you don't seem to know enough to be specifing cable sizes.
