Correct fibre washer? Advice needed

Shouldn't think so. The pipe in the kit looks like 22 mm, the Screwfix washer is 1/2" intended for a tap connector. 1308J might do the trick, but washers for boiler pipes are often thicker and have greater outside diameter.

It already comes with a fibre washer for the nut end and an o-ring and clip for the other end? You can't see in the picture but the face on the end inside the nut I believe is a flat flange rather than a stepped flange and needs the wider flat fibre washer.

The fibre washer you are linking too is a narrow type that's used on a stepped flange end like in a service valve/tap connector.

Ah thanks, yeh I only bought the o ring and washer not the entire kit, the washer I pit in seems to be working so far but I'll certainly replace with the one you've said when I've got time!!!

Yup, would suggest you do, sooner rather than later too ... there's not a lot of meat nor strength in a tap washer, to hold back water under pressure, when it's not supported by the stepped flange and the pipe wall.

Thanks for the advice will do
