Correct Installation?

he must still be confused fitting an rccb on a submain, hope you haven't paid for the unneccessary item!

It's not a submain, it's a supply to a peice of equipment, since we don't know much about this peice of equipment we don't know whether the RCD was a good idea or not.
 
I stand corrected, however still think it unlikley an rccd is required and that it is an unneccessary expense
 
Yeah, not too clever of him. I don't know much about this sort of thing, but I was just checking the install for my own piece of mind, and noticed the RCCB and not MCB etc. Quite proud of myself :LOL:

As for needing a RCCB?! Again, I don't know if it is NEEDED, but isn't it safe having one? Why wouldn't you fit one? The machine is a steam generator by the way :)
