I live in an early 1900s semi-detatched house where most of the internal walls are lath and plaster.

I'm renovating the living room and I'd like to take down one side of the lath and plaster walls, fill with insulation and refit plasterboard (adding studs/noggins/cable channels as needed).

A short section of one of the walls is external and backs onto an open porch.

What is the correct way to insulate this? I understand I would need to think about condensation etc. There is no insulation at all at the moment.

The diagram below shows the lath and plaster walls in orange. It's not to scale

Thanks
Mark
