Corrosion and a small leak in the pipe of a one pipe system. How bad is it, and how best to fix?

After moving a set of draws I've found a spot on my one pipe central heating flow that's rusted and leaking very slightly.

I was planning to cover the spot in epoxy repair paste and hoping that stops further damage, but is that a good idea?

How big of a job is it to fix this otherwise?

Is it a good idea to use epoxy in the meantime?
Nope, all that will do is continue to rust underneath, the epoxy (or chemical metal) will hold things back and lull you into a false sense of security for a while but when it then does go again it'll end up a real nightmare. Leave it as it is as you don't want to disturb it and keep a real eye on it and get it repaired ASAP
