I think you will find it needs coding to the car with suitable diagnostic equipment

Try loosening the cluster and ensuring all electrical contacts are good (in the connections).

mursal....tried that lastnite i taken the panel part off and looked at the connection that goes into the back and all was fine but never opened the cluster completely just the wire out then in!!!!
