Cost of rendering

My 3 bed semi is in need of attention to the exterior rendering so I recently got a rough price from 2 of the big names in the business for a complete recoat to all 3 walls plus the attached utility building.

This would involve chipping off the loose, levelling up, re-coating then a final coat of some pliolite based finish.

for about a weeks work the estimates I've been given are £20k and £10k!!!

This sounds mental to me, so can someone please give me an idea of what its REALLY likely to cost (doesn't necessarily have to have a pliolite finish).
