hi
i had a guy come in a while ago to install my gas fire, while there he did a quick check and asked questions. it came about that i have to manually top up the water pressure in my combi boiler more often than i should be (every few days or so) he said this was due to no pressure in my overflow chamber (i think that was the term he gave anyway) so as the system heats up water escapes from the overflow then when it cools back down-not enough pressure. (its a new system only about 3 years old) he said i can solve this myself with a pump with a pressure guage on but i forgot his exact instructions on much pressure etc. can anyone help or is it best to just get a pro in to do it? how much will it cost about?
