I'm filling out a claim form for the manufacturer of the shingles for a condo townhouse and one of the questions asked is the number of slopes in the building's roof. All the references to roof slopes I've seen refer to inclination/pitch. The way I'm counting them is imagining the house as a ski hill, how many unique slopes could be skied on if that makes sense. Am I doing it right? And is there a more technical way of determining what qualifies as a "slope"? Thank you in advance!

No idea ! It's a UK forum and if your insurers are as pedantic as ours you'll need to ask them;)
