Hi

Maybe I am thick but could someone please tell me what the difference is between a Cove and a Cornice and what is Gyproc.

I am not going too fancy by the way but deffinately wont be going polystyrene so what would be the best for me?

Seen some at BnQ but I am scared by their prices on most things. I just saw some skirting board that works out at £2.48 per metre untreated when a local builders merchant works out at about a pound primed and treated.

"Cornice" is like an upside down skirting board, "coving" is the stuff that sits at a 45deg angle to wall and ceiling (or vice versa). Gyproc is a brand name of a plaster manufacturer.
