I’ve just moved into a rented flat where the previous tenants have done quite a bit of damage. There are three holes/chips in the worktop next to the hob (see picture). Any idea how I can make these seem less noticeable please? I’m not very experienced with DIY so a less effective solution that’s simpler is better than a perfect solution that requires skill! Thanks for any help you can offer.

Search for colourfill. Never be perfect but slightly less visible if you fill it white.

Get some white car filler, mask off around damage very close and fill , sand back and then remove tape .
